Buddy Lee Conard

“Beloved Father & Grandfather” Buddy Lee Conard, 66 of Waynesville passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. He was born in Haywood County on January 31, 1950 to the late Jack and Lela Haney Conard. Buddy enjoyed building model cars, riding motorcycles and hot rod cars. He loved to cruise around town. He loved his children and his grandchildren. He was also known for giving each person he knew a nickname. He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Conard; and two brothers, Jerry and Larry Conard. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michelle Conard and fiancé, Jason, Rebecca Lynn Barker and husband, Harold and Shaun Lee Conard; grandchildren, Judy & Felicia Mull, Destiny Mullen, Layla Kirkendall, Madi Blaine, Shauna Conard, and Celina James. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Garrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home.
