August 17, 1967 - November 18, 2025.
With profound love and deep sorrow, we honor the beautiful life and spirit of Carrie Rene'Marie Coston, who transitioned from this life on November 1 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 58 years old.
Born at Fitzsimons Hospital in Denver, Colorado, Carrie was the first daughter of Emma Jones (Scott, Chambers) and Clyde Irvine Scott. She spent her early years in Perth Amboy, New Jersey before returning to Colorado at age five.
Carrie was a magnetic presence. Her warmth, confidence, and unmistakable sparkle drew people to her. The eldest of three sisters, she naturally took charge, never shy about bossing others around when needed. Her gift for leadership carried into her professional life and varied career choices and executive positions. This gift for leadership blossomed throughout her professional life, where she was known as nothing short of a "corporate magician." Carrie could organize chaos and energize any team. Her smile lit up entire rooms, and her laugh was the kind that stayed with you. Carrie embraced life with boldness and beauty— her fashion sense, elegant head wraps, incredible hair, and legendary shoe collection all expressions of her vibrant soul. She moved through life gracefully, with gratitude and intention, as if dancing through the world with an inner light only she possessed.
Carrie's spiritual journey blossomed through her connection with the Sai Maa Community, where she served as a Magdalena of divine light. A free spirit and master manifester, she approached every dream with determination and unwavering belief. Her life was a testament to awakening divine feminine energy— healing, grace, and radiant strength.
To know Carrie was to be touched by magic. Her presence, leadership, and humor left an indelible mark on everyone privileged to share space with her. Though she has departed from this world, her light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. Carrie is survived by:
- Her daughter: Tiahja
- Her mother: Emma
- Her father: Clyde
- Her sisters: Andrea and Heather
- Her nieces: Dejouray, Nekyah, and Anaya
- Her nephew: Adrian
- And a wide circle of both biological and chosen family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
May Carrie's radiant spirit continues to guide, inspire, and shine through all who loved her.
A private celebration of life will take place in Colorado at a later date. You may send cards or donations in lieu of flowers to the family in Colorado. Contact [email protected] for additional information**
