Charles "Chuck" Blane Bolin

Charles Blane "Chuck" Bolin, age 62 of Maggie Valley passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. He was born in Haywood County on August 28, 1961.

Chuck served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War. During his military service he was with the 211th MP Company.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Blane and Mary Alice Moody Bolin and a brother, Timothy Bolin.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Amanda Bolin Connolly; son, Andy Bolin; and grandchildren, Max Connolly and Amelia Connolly.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park where there will be a Military honors service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
