Charles Hugh Goodson “Loving Husband, Brother & Father” Charles Hugh Goodson, 72 of Waynesville passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Haywood County on June 6, 1943 to the late Ray and Eva Jean Goodson. He was long haul truck driver for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs, gardening and spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Barbara Goodson; children, Ricky, Lynn, Allison, Tracy and Steven; step children, Angela (Jason) and Lee; sisters, Evelyn (Ronnie) Wilson, Joyce (Arlie) Hughes, and Cathy (Frank) Reece; brother, Robert Earl Goodson; ten grandchildren and seven step grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Garrett Funeral Home.
