Clarence "Rabbit" Raymond Robinson

Clarence Raymond Robinson "Rabbit" a native of Haywood County passed away May 7, 2020 in his home. Clarence was born January 08, 1943 to the late James Edmund and Tallia Hoyle Robinson. He is preceded in death by his 7 siblings.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Martha Robinson of 54 years and their 4 children, James Lonnie, Raymond Neal, Chadwick Dewayne and Crystal Marie. Clarence was the proud papaw to 11 grandchildren, Alecia, Tanner, Landon, Braedon, Dakota, Logan, Tucker, Jordan, Olivia, Tahaylee and Avery.

Clarence served in the US Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970. He retired from Dayco after 30 years of service.

In his free time, Clarence loved to be on the lake fishing or just sitting on the front porch of the houseboat. He also loved to square dance. He danced with the Great Smokey Mountain Cloggers and the Southern Appalachian Cloggers.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, May 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Green Hill Cemetery.
