David Curtis Reams Jr. was born on November 16, 1953, in Jacksonville, Florida where he resided until his illness. He passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 72. He moved to Waynesville, North Carolina to his brother's house during his illness.
He was proceeded in life by his parents Corrine Vandella Brooks Reams and David Curtis (Red) Reams Sr.; sister Mary Reams Alcorn.
David enjoyed kite flying, he loved building and working on computers. He was kind, sensitive, and would go out of his way to help others.
He was survived by sister Lynn Marie Reams Bridges (Charlie); brother James Robert Reams; niece's and nephew's Terra Reams, Curtis Edward Reams, and Kaylyn Bridges Lassiter (Seth), Justin Bridges, and John Barry (JB) Alcorn; and many loving friends and family.
He will be truly missed.
