Denzil Coleman Haynes, age 74, of Fines Creek passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 surrounded by his family. Denzil was born March 23, 1947 to the late Coleman and Mildred Haynes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Buddy and Dwayne Haynes.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Reva Greene Haynes; son, John (Nicole) Haynes; sister, Brenda (Charles) Revis; nephews, Josh Ledford, Michael Haynes, Chris Greene, Shane Greene and Scotty Greene; nieces, Jennifer Loving and Jenny Drake; Grandchildren, Josie and Jacob West and Kamlyn Haynes whom he loved very much.

Denzil was a retired Lineman for Haywood EMC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Carolina Tar Heels basketball.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend's Jimmy Moore and Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be held at Fines Creek Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
