

Eva Jo Gregory Sisk, 95, passed away July 8, at Skyland Terrace and Rehabilitation, Waynesville, with family by her side.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Sherrill and Flora Mason Gregory. She grew up in a loving home in Nantahala River Gorge surrounded by her seven sisters and one brother. She loved God and all her family and always enjoyed time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Sisk, sisters, Alwayne Gregory, Syble Cutshaw, Hildred McCall, and her brother Ralph Gregory.
Surviving are a son, Gary Cagle (Sharon), two daughters, Darlene Creech (David), Sandra McCallum (William), six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, her sisters Bonnie Postell, Lela Mae Postell (Olin), Shirley Jones, Freda West and a sister-in-law, Gladys Gibson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday, July 11, at Garrett Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 pm with light refreshments. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating, followed by burial at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
