I am so very sorry to read of Georgia's passing. She was such a sweet person. Georgia was always so good to me when she worked at Central Office. She loved her family, her friends, and her job.
She will certainly be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I will certainly miss Georgia's friendship, big smile, and quick wit. It was a pleasure working with her for many years in the school system. After she retired, we stayed in touch on social media. She was a salt-of-the-earth soul with a love of people and Alabama football. The Tide is Rolling a little stronger up in heaven thanks to Georgia.

My deepest sympathy to all of Georgia's family. I knew Georgia when my dad Rev. O. P. Ledford was minister at First Baptist Maggie Valley. I hate that I moved away and lost touch with her, but some of my relatives kept in touch. This is a story for her grandkids, one day after church Georgia and I decided to ride to waynesville to get us something to drink and to just go for a ride as girls did. It was raining real bad and all of a sudden my car turned all the way upside down because I was going to fast. Thank the Lord their was a angel from my dad's church also named Margaret that was a nurse and took us to the hospital to check us out. Luckily we only had a few broken teeth and a watch was broken and some scratches. So everytime it is raining I think of Georgia and our adventure.

I don't know where to even start but I will greatly miss Georgia. Her and Robert put up with me almost every day of my teen years as her son Bobby and I were together everyday cause we were best friends. Robert and Georgia were like my second parents and treated me the same. Robert and Bobby, if y'all need anything please don't hesitate to call me. I love you all like you are my family because in my heart you are!
