June 24, 1964June 3, 2019

Ingrid Stephenson Ledford of Clyde, North Carolina, born June 24, 1964, passed away peacefully at her beloved mountain home on June 3, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ingrid was a graduate of Tuscola High School. She was an avid animal lover, Alabama Football fan, loved being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Many will miss her beautiful smile and true heart.

She left her loving daughters, Loagin Ledford Brookshire (Brady) and Landin Ledford; husband, Bobby Ledford; father, Warren Stephenson; mother Virginia Barker (Bob); (heart mom) Lynda Broadway (Milt); and numerous relatives that adored her. Thank you to close friends and family for loving her.

A special gratitude to Hospice and our local volunteer First Responders. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

Jim and I were so saddened to hear of Ingrid's passing. We send love to our dear friend Warren and hold the family in our hearts at this time of loss. We send prayers for healing and we know Ingrid is now loved in Heaven with her pets and ancestors who have gone before her.

While I never had the opportunity to actually meet Ingrid, I felt as if I knew her through her precious daughter, Landin and heart mom, Lynda. I knew she was someone that I would love immediately because of her very kind heart and her love of animals. I have held her up in prayer since her illness and now I continue to do so for her beloved family. Rest in peace, sweet Ingrid...be sure to visit the Rainbow Bridge. God bless you always.
