Jean Wilde Rhymer Robinson, 91, died on November 10, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late William G. and Bertie Battles Wilde. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max G. Robinson, Sr.; brother, Bobby Wilde; and sister Mildred Taylor.
Jean is survived by her children, Michael Neil Rhymer and wife, Elaine Goodwin Rhymer; Jason Gentry Rhymer and wife, Valerie Lyons Rhymer; brother, Richard Wilde and wife, Carmen Wyatt Wilde; and sister, Janice Liner. Grandchildren, Sullivan Grace (Sully) Rhymer, Rachel Rhymer, Lance Pierce and several nieces and nephews.
Jean loved God, her children, music and many wonderful friends who helped her find her way when Max went to heaven. She was happiest when she was serving pound cake and coffee to friends and neighbors.
In lieu of a reception or funeral, Jean requested that friends and family visit a loved one in a nursing home or an older neighbor and share a cup of coffee, memories, and laughter.
