Jeremy Lee Haney

Waynesville-Jeremy Lee Haney, 42 passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Jeremy was born in Haywood County on March 7, 1979, to the late Robert and Mildred Trantham Haney. He enjoyed fishing, sitting by the creek around the fire, and playing with his granddaughter. Jeremy also enjoyed his music whether it was at Picking in the Park or attending clogging events with his wife who is a member of the J Creek Cloggers. Jeremy will be remembered as a loving husband and father to his wife Jamie and daughter Tabitha.

In addition to his parents, Jeremy was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie and Kenneth Haney.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jamie Conard Haney; daughter, Tabitha Hall (Brian); granddaughter, Hannah Hall, with another granddaughter on the way; and brothers, Keith (Debbie) and Steve (Brenda) Haney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 25, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Daniel Page officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Masks will be optional.
