John Carroll Lindsey, 77, of Clyde NC went home to be with the Lord, on Monday June 30th, 2025.

John was a Navy Veteran who served on the USS Radford and was stationed in San Francisco, California. When he left the Navy, he began working at Champion Paper Mill. He worked many jobs in his life and lived many places but what brought him the most joy was his family.

John is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Edna Lindsey; his son Marty Lindsey; daughter Kimberly Jones; and one granddaughter Andrea Michelle Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Priscilla Lindsey. Three granddaughters Brooke Rios (Hilda); Alyssia Lindsey and Kendra Hernandez (Daniel). One grandson Aaron Jones. One stepdaughter Melissa Pratt. Two step granddaughters Olivia Sampson (Charles) and Elizabeth Pratt. And 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday July 12th at 2:00pm at the Crawford Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde, North Carolina 28721.

His Pallbearers are Danny Wyatt Jr, Tommy Wyatt, Matthew Eager, Billy Wyatt, Charles Sampson, and John Chastain.

His Honorary Pallbearers are Aaron Jones, Hunter Lambert, Trace Lambert, Tay Lambert, Edward Moody, Steve Eager.
