Juanita "Boy" Ball Mull

Juanita "Boy" Ball Mull passed on June 24, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on August 14, 1938, in Haywood County, NC, to the late Allen and Bessie Gibson Ball. Juanita enjoyed sitting on her porch telling stories and watching her birds or reading, talking to the dogs and sharing food with them, and making cornbread.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William "Bud" Mull; daughter, Judy Ann Mull; sons, Dennis and Tony Mull; sisters, Viola, Virginia, and Joann.

Juanita is survived by her son Billy Mull (Carolyn); sister, Barbara Stafford; grandchildren, Felicia, Judy, Ashley (John), Derek (Teresa), Brandon Mull, Michelle Wilburn, Rodney and Travis Swan; four great-grandchildren; special friends, Cathy, Lynn, Loretta, Roy, Polly, and Ann; and her special little buddy, Waylon.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Kenny Banks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, June 27, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
