Canton-Lora Marie Williams, 64, died on January 6, 2015, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Lora was born in Yakima, WA on November 11, 1950 to the late Wilfred James and Ruby Irene Stamper Williams. Lora retired from the US Postal Service with 34 ½ years of faithful service. She was very loving and selfless to her family and friends, whom she enjoyed spending time with. Lora is at last reunited with her two sons, Shawn Michael Hooper and Jerry Lee Hooper, Jr.
In addition to her parents and sons Lora was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Demoss.
Lora is survived by her daughter, Jalene Marie Hooper-Byers; three grandsons, Dustin Michael Byers, Hunter Dawson-Lee Byers, and Sawyer McClain Byers; three granddaughters, Kathleen Jane Smay Pacleb, Courtney Jenneal Ward, and Christina June Borrero; a brother, Roy Grant Williams; and a sister, Sally Ann Slaight.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Yakima, WA.
