Waynesville, NC – Lowery Lee Chandler, 88, passed away Friday, November 9, 2017 at the Haywood House in Canton. He was born in Haywood County to the late Jeff and Helen Hampton Chandler. Lowery was a carpenter for many years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Chandler; sons, Gene Chandler and Bob Chandler. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Christine Foster and Carolyn Criss; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Tom Chandler; sister, Macey Massie; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
