Malakai "Audrey" Rubendall, age 29, of Maggie Valley, NC passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Malakai was born on March 31, 1995 to James and Mary Goodson Rubendall. He graduated from South Point High School in Belmont, NC in 2013. Malakai enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing, swimming and animals. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Malakai was preceded in death by his grandparents; his aunt, Charlene Warren; cousin, Misty Ford; and nephew, Dylan Farris.
In addition to his parents, Malakai is survived by his sisters, Betsy Barnes (Rick), Dina Beam (Scott), Heather Farris, Harlyn Rubendall; and brothers, Eric Queen (Jenny) and Cameron Crowe.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 2, from 6-8 pm in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
