1949 – 2017 Maggie Valley, NC - Melissa Gay Williams, age 67 passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Asheville, NC. She was born in Miami, FL on September 19, 1949. Melissa worked for many years at Southern Bell. Following her years with the phone company, she devoted her time and talents to grooming pets. She is preceded in death by parents, and brother, Allan Williams. Left to cherish her memory is her spouse, Judy Lynn Thurman; a brother, Larry Williams; and a sister, Pam Grammer.
