Days at Mt. de Sales Academy in Macon provide many memories. Mike was a good student and well liked and respected by his classmates, teachers, and coaches. It was my privilege to know him and to be asociated with him, his brothers, and his wonderful mother. My sincere condolences to his wife and children, to his brothers, and to his friends. He was a role model for all with whom he came in contact. He will be missed by many...

I was deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. I met Michael through tennis. I played on a team with him, and teams against him and recently on Sunday morning matches. He was a gentleman first and then a good player. He always gave 100% on the court and from what I hear that is how he approached everything he did in life. RIP Michael we will miss you!

When we went to Mt. De Sales together Mike & Artie Coogle came to visit me. Mike turned in my driveway and a car was passing Mike , the car hit the side of Mikes car . He jumped out yelled that he drove over thousand miles and had not had any problems . He was a quiet man I felt so bad that day because Mike loved his car. Mike was always kind to everyone he was a good country boy back in 77. May he RIP. Bless his family Jesus keep them in your arms, give them the peace they need.

My deepest condolences to Echo, Ben and Claire and also to rest of the Daniel Family. I am a friend of Michael from back in the Joseph N. Neel School days and living on Margaret Dr. I viewed the pictures and remember well the two German Shepherds and the "old house". We spent many summer evenings playing freeze tag , football, and "hot-box" in that small front yard. Seemed big enough back then. Mark & Michael were my 2 best friends during those years & I treasure the memories from the "good ol' days". I remember Michael loving the Green Bay Packers & Tennessee and we all followed the early Braves. I have relayed our tales of broken bones, stitches, stumped toes, & other injuries with many people. Rainy summer days playing Monopoly, Hot Wheels, Rockem-Sockem Robots, Electric Football-all in their living room; but don't dare touch his mommas Cokes (or was it Pepsi) lol. His parents along with Mark, Ricky & Robert were like my second family. I am saddened by his passing. He obviously leaves behind a tremendous loving family of whom he is very proud. Praying for you during this time. Keith & Laurie

Echo, Ben, Claire,
Rik and I are shocked and heartbroken. We can see Michael’s smile and hear his laugh just thinking about him. We’re in Montana so we’ll miss the service, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

My deepest sympathy and condolences during this time of sadness and loss. I only recently met Mr. Daniel, but was completely put at ease and truly enjoyed our conversation which spanned topics including the Green Bay Packers. Catholic Education, and art. I am grateful for having met him. My prayers are with the family. May eternal rest be granted unto him and may God shine perpetual light upon him.
