William is survived by his spouse, Phyllis McCLure, sons Michael McClure (Mallory), John Nichols (Sandra), grandchildren Jade and Sherene Nichols, Ashley, Aaron, and Birch McClure, two step-grandchildren Cassidy and Titan.
He loved fishing, camping, reading, and horseback riding.
A graveside service will be held at Green Hill Cemetery with Military Honors on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Eddie Barton officiating. The visitation will be at Garrett Funeral Home from 12 to 2pm prior to the graveside service.
