Nancy Dolwick Beemer Nancy Dolwick Beemer, 82, of Waynesville NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2022. Nancy was born on December 8, 1939 in Hebron, Kentucky. She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College with a Bachelor’s degree in Music. She was always very proud to be the first in her family to have graduated from college. Beyond God and her family, music was her first love. Nancy began playing piano for Hopeful Lutheran Church at the age of 13 and quickly followed with the organ becoming their main accompanist. The love of the Lord brought her to serve a number of church congregations throughout her life as their Minister of Music and pianist/organist. She amazed many people by simultaneously, without sheet music, playing beautifully, speaking with friends as they passed by while looking out into the congregation to make sure no one needed her help. One of Nancy’s most precious attributes was her natural and effortless ability to recognize when someone needed help. Once recognized, she was first in line with a kind suggestion and offer a helping hand. Nancy met her beloved husband, Chuck Beemer in Chapel Hill, NC and they quickly fell in love marrying August 25th of 1990. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, her daughter, Carolyn V. Fountaine of Atlanta, GA, her brother, Valentine W. Dolwick (Joan) of Ft. Wright, KY, her sister, Sandra D. Richards of Florence, KY, and her sister, Delilah D. Huber (Dennis) of Villa Hills, KY, along with step-son, Jeffrey M. Beemer (Catherine) and step-grandchildren, Luke and Cate Beemer of Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Hazelwood Baptist Church. Reverend Tim Lolley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 prior to the service at the church from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow services at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park.
