Nancy Noland Sayer

Nancy Noland Sayer, age 85, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Monday, September 18th, 2023. Nancy was born in Haywood County, NC on June 17th, 1938, to the late Katherine Elizabeth Noland (Chambers) and Lyle Ashley Noland. Nancy was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Daniel Bennett Sayer, and her brother, Roger Noland.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Vicki Sayer Aldrich and Dana Sayer Feitelberg (Michael); grandchildren Travis Smith (Melissa), Trey Smith (Jennifer), Alexandra van Breen (Renier) and Daniel Feitelberg. Great Grandchildren; Conner Smith, Mollie and Woody Smith, Hendrik, William, and Theodoor van Breen.

Nancy enjoyed time with her bridge and canasta group as well as many friends and family, football and gardening. She was a gift to all who knew her and loved by many. Her strength, unconditional love, guidance, infectious laughter, undeniable humor, and the ability to find beauty and happiness in all around her were gifts that we will always treasure.

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.” This is certainly true of our Nancy.

"Children" will be missed by many and Mom, we hope they have a fabulous hairdresser in heaven.
