Opal Hall Rochester

Opal Hall Rochester, age 101, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. Opal was born in Memphis, TN on April 27, 1920 to the late George and Amma Pilcher Hall.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Crockett Rochester; daughter, Joan Rochester.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Jimmy (Joanne) Rochester; two grandchildren, Jason (Cathryn) Rochester and Joanna (John) Campos; and seven great grandchildren, Jacob, Johnny, JJ, and Justin Campos and Sophia, Grace, and Joy Rochester.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in the Chapel of Waynesville First Baptist Church with the Reverend Jason Rochester officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the church.

Burial will be held at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park
