Patsy Jean Pope

Waynesville, NC - Patsy Jean Webb Pope, age 86, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Swain County on September 19, 1933, to the late Daniel Webb and Faye Webb Fugate. Patsy enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was a huge fan of Elvis, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and country music in general. Patsy also enjoyed reading anything and everything about Marilyn Monroe. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at Autumn Care where she resided.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret McDowell and Mary Alice Yokley; and her brother, JD Webb.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jeff Pope and his wife, Laura, and Anthony Pope and his wife, Beth; a daughter, Sandra Cooke and her husband, Thomas Keith Cooke; and a grandson, Dustin Cooke.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 17, at Green Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. Mark Golden officiating.
