Ralph Edward Hughes

Clyde-Ralph Edward Hughes, 64, died on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at The Homestead. Ralph was born in Haywood County on June 26, 1953, to the late Albert and Allie Clark Hughes. Ralph was a hardworking man who enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Hughes Justice. Ralph is survived by his brother, David Hughes (Deanna); sisters Kathy Hooper (Don) and Mildred Randall; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 23, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverends Mark Caldwell and Kent Lowdermilk officiating. Burial will follow in Fincher’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 22, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
