Richard Bruce Miller

Waynesville, NC - Richard Bruce Miller, age 79 went to be with The Lord on December 24, 2020. He was born in Rutland, VT on May 28, 1941.

He is preceded in death by parents, Charles Miller and Ruth Wickstrom; sister, Martha; brother, Bob Miller.

Richard was a was a building contractor and a mechanic for many years in California. He also worked for 19 years at Home Depot West Asheville.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Barbara Miller; two daughters, Stephanie Richardson of KY and Josephine Walker of FL; two sisters, Jane MacDonald of SC and Patricia Corbin of NC; grandchildren, Timothy and Nicholas Merry, Christopher and Nathan Walker, Janelle Roster and Adara Overhultz; seven great grandchildren; and nephews, Joe Corbin, Larry MacDonald, Billy Faas and Bobby (Barbara) Faas and their three sons, Robert Faas, Jr, Jason Faas, and James Faas.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held at a later date in the summer at Garrett Hillcrest Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sarges Animal Rescue and Lewy Body research.
