Robert "Bob" Levi Rose

Waynesville-Robert "Bob" Levi Rose, 84, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Autumn Care of Waynesville. Bob was born in Haywood County on June 6, 1933, to the late Charles Brenson and Alvie Messer Rose. Bob enjoyed fishing, and Bluegrass and Gospel Music. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Beula Franklin Rose; his brothers, Charlie and Lawrence Rose; sisters, Macie Birch and Lizzie Burgess; and grandchildren, Tammy Suanne Rose and David Matthew Rose.

Bob is survived by his sons, Fred Rose, Eddie Rose (Sherri), Teddy Rose (Margaret); daughters, Judith Conner (Donald) and Sue Hill (Earl); brother, Arthur Rose; sisters, Maxine Jenkins, Pearl Franklin, and Lois Hendrix; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 28, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverends Jerry Nelson and Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, March 27, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations and at other times at the residence of Teddy Rose.
