Robert Andrew Ross Sr.

Robert (Bob) Andrew Ross, Sr. age 80, of Waynesville, NC passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Care Partners Hospice of Asheville, NC. Robert was born June 24, 1941 in Morristown, NJ to Elizabeth Cameron Ross and Robert Lee Haines.

Robert and family moved to Waynesville in April 1980 and was owner and operator of Ross Television, 1980 to 1990.

He was a member of BRACA and Dogwood Crafters. A very talented woodworker and participated in area craft shows.

He served in the Air Force Reserves in Homestead, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret Britton Ross; daughter, Trish (Jim) Plemmons of Waynesville, NC; son, Robert (Maura) Ross, Jr. of Bonita Springs, FL; brother, Sandy Ross of Miami, FL; granddaughter, Sandra Conner of Clyde, NC; and a great grandson, Timber Conner of Clyde, NC.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
