March 12, 1958 – October 9, 2026
Ronnie Moore, 68, of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Born and raised in Waynesville, Ronnie spent his life in the mountains he called home. A quiet and hardworking man, Ronnie was someone who appreciated the simple things in life. He valued his independence, enjoyed his solitude, and was perfectly content doing things his own way.
Although Ronnie was often a man of few words, he had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh that those who knew him will always remember. His laughter was contagious and had a way of bringing a smile to everyone around him.
Throughout his life, Ronnie took pride in working hard and had recently begun enjoying a well-deserved retirement. He found happiness in life's quieter moments, whether listening to music, taking a drive, or enjoying a good meal.
Family was an important part of Ronnie's life, and he showed his love in his own quiet ways. He shared a special bond with his sister, Kendra, and was a caring presence in her life.
Ronnie is survived by his sister, Kendra Moore; his brother, Keith Moore, and his wife, Robbie; his aunt, Deb Evans; and his niece, Kayla Moore and her significant other, Seth Fagan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Moore and Mary Ann Moore.
In accordance with Ronnie's wishes, he will be cremated under the care of Garrett Funeral Home, and no formal services will be held.
Though Ronnie lived much of his life quietly and on his own terms, the memories he leaves behind, especially that unforgettable laugh, will remain with those who loved him.
