Ruth Burns Lowe

Ruth Burns Lowe, age 96 of Hendersonville, NC passed away peacefully Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born on April 27, 1929, in Madison County, NC to the late Samuel and Amanda Allison Burns.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jack Lowe; children, Barbara Ruth Rutherford and Dennis Gary Lowe; siblings, Lona Presnell, Curtis Burns, Gladys Haggins, William Burns, and Steven Burns.

Left to cherish her memory is a son, Larry Eugene Lowe; daughter, Sandra Lowe (Robert S.) Beal; grandchildren, Joe, James, and Jodi Rutherford, April Waters, Summer Morrow, Lindsay Autumne Lowe, Reuben Maxwell, Patrick Harrison, and Tommy, Kathy, Kim, and Kristy; many great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Garrett Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Poplar Gap Cemetery.
