Ruth Parris Wyatt

Ruth Parris Wyatt, age 82 passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Ruth was born in Jackson County, on March 18, 1940, to the late Carl and Dolly Green Parris. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved going to her church, Allens Creek Baptist Church. Ruth also enjoyed quilting and basket weaving.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Wyatt; sisters,

Edna Mae Gray, Betty Sisk and Sally Frady; and brothers, Wayne, Lee, and Bobby Parris.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Jeff Wyatt (Kim) and David Wyatt (Reva); brother, Gerald Parris (Carolyn); grandchildren, Gabi, Karsen, and Lindley.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
