Ryder Lee Cole Woods

Canton, NC - Ryder Lee Cole Woods, age 7 months and 5 days, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Ryder was born in Haywood County on September 15, 2021. Those who know Ryder would always see how happy he was with a smile on his face.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Rocky Dewayne Banks, Sr, step grandfather, Darrin Kalis and uncle, Dustin Woods.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Alyssa (Alexander Mehaffey) Woods and father, Rocky Dewayne Banks, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Karen Denise Wheeler and Donald Woods; paternal grandmother, Cathy (Ryan) Ray; step maternal grandfather, Brian (Tasha) Bramham; step paternal grandfather, Alan Robinson; maternal, great grandmother, Diana Wheeler; uncle, David Wheeler; aunts, Brittany Johnson and Kira Vancannon, and a host of other aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Sulphur Springs Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Matthew Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 prior to the service at the church.
