Shaun Lee Conard

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shaun Lee Conard, age 47, on Friday, February 6, 2026. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and a family man, whose life was full of adventure, laughter and love.He lived boldly and freely. He was a wild one; that's for sure, but above all, he loved life and lived it to his fullest.

Shaun was born in Haywood County on January 6, 1979, to the late Buddy and Debra Burnette Conard.

Shaun was an artist and a skilled carpenter; work that he truly loved. Creating with his hands, whether through art or carpentry was one the ways he expressed himself and left his mark for his family. Fishing was one of his greatest joys. The quiet of the water and the thrill of the catch.

In addition to his parents, Shaun was preceded in death by his daughter, Celina Marie James; uncle, James Burnette; and brother-in-law, Tony Ray Mull.

Shaun is survived by his children, Shauna, Blaine, and Madilyne Conard; sisters, Michelle Conard Kirkendall (Jason) and Lynn Conard; grandchildren, River, Willow, Bryier, Eleanor and Brooklyn; and nieces and nephews, Felicia, Judy, Destiny, Zach, Layla, Huxton, Waylon.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Kenny Banks officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 11, at Garrett Funerals and Cremations.
