Silas Eugene Lowe

Silas Eugene Lowe, age 88, of Summerville, SC passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Eugene was born in Madison County, NC to the late Reubin and Jessie Packett Lowe.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Leona Lowe; daughter, Trilla Willett; siblings, Paul Lowe, Estillee Lowe, Jennings Bryan, Ralph Lowe, Dallas Lowe, Blanche Lowe Wimbish, Edith Lowe and Cecil Lowe.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Genia Lowe Marino; brother, Marvin Lowe (Ruth); grandchildren, Bethany Smith (Scott), Rikkell Crane (Robert); Caleb Willett (Heather) and Julia Willett; great grandchildren Alexa Warlock and Elaina-Marie Simons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home with the Reverend Andy McDevitt officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Hurricane View Cemetery.
