Virginia Hoyle Wilson

Waynesville-Virginia Hoyle Wilson, 90, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Blue Ridge Health Care on the Mountain. Virginia was born in Jackson County on August 13, 1927, to the late Delos and Patra Duncan Hoyle. She loved working in her flowers and garden. Virginia travelled all over the world and will be remembered for her feisty spirit.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Bonner Wilson; and a sister, Vernice Riggins.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Ronnie Wilson (Evelyn) and Ray Wilson (Terrie); grandchildren, Will, Johnny, Joshua, Tyler, Anne, Shane, Chisum, and Cheyenne; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 21, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
