STEINMANN, Catherine “Kate” 62 of Webster Groves, on June 19, 2012. Beloved wife of Gene Steinmann. Dear daughter of Joan and William Effinger. Sister of Connie (Rick) Behrens, Susan (Jeff) Sommer, Jane (Mike) Margherio. Sister in law of Jane McLaughlin and Ed (Elyse) Steinmann. Aunt and great aunt of many adorable nieces and nephews.
She gracefully managed her cancer and showed us how to endure long-term challenges with continued good humor and joy for life. She was loved.
Thanks to all who loved her and the caring teams at St. Anthony’s de Greeff Hospice House, Mercy Hospice and the Siteman and Mercy Cancer Centers.
SERVICES: Memorial Gathering, 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves (968-2000). A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
