Doris C. Johnson

JOHNSON, DORIS C., age 92, born October 17, 1920, in Des Moines, Iowa; died on August 3, 2013; beloved wife of the late Warren McIntyre Johnson; daughter of the late Leo E. Clarahan and Ethel Gertrude Kelley and sister of the late Richard Kelley Clarahan; devoted and loving mother of Bill (Virginia) Johnson of Webster Groves and Katherine (Richard) D’Amaro of Atlanta, GA; grandmother of four.

Doris graduated from University City High School and Stephens College and attended University of Wisconsin. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, volunteer with Sign of the Arrow, PEOs, an avid putter and bridge player, Cardinals fan and long-standing member of Webster Hills United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Gerber Chapel, 23 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves Private memorial service. Memorials to the Webster Groves Public Library, 301 East Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, Missouri 63119 or the charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
