Doris E. Poeling

POELING, Doris E. (nee Ringenberg), 90, of Glendale, MO on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Loving wife of the late Harry H. Poeling; beloved mother of Elizabeth (David) Fuchs; loving grandmother of Christopher, Danielle and Tyler Fuchs and dear friend.

Born March 14, 1921 to James T. and Gertrude (nee Mackinstry) Ringueberg, in Syracuse New York. She lived in New York City working as a Producer for two television shows Love of Life and Search for Tomorrow. She also modeled for Sax Fifth Avenue. After marrying the love of her life Harry, she and Harry moved to the St. Louis area, living first in U-City, Webster Groves and in Glendale. She worked for Dillards and volunteered her time to many worthwhile causes including, O.A.S.I.S. of St. Louis (Education & Volunteer Services for Seniors) and was a Girl Scout Leader.

SERVICES: Visitation 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Gerber Chapel 23 W. Lockwood Ave. Webster Groves. Interment services following the visitation at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul Churchyard. In memory contributions may be made to Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 Mackland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110
