I worked for Leslie a short time and was proud to call her a mentor in our field.  We have suffered a great loss of an advocate to was very devoted to the medical community.  Thank you, Leslie, for always sharing good advice!

Although I didn't know Leslie personally, it is always sad to lose such wonderful mentors in the Health Information field.  My prayers are with her family at this sad time, but from the other comments, know that she lived a very full life.

My deepest sympathy to the family and close friends of Leslie. She has made a very prominent and positive mark on our profession and we owe her. She was a very giving person and will be missed. God bless!

Leslie was my consultant at the first nursing home I worked at back in 1979.  She got me interested in the Health Information Management field and started my career in that field.  I received my certification in 1984 and it has been my career ever since.  She was a wonderful role model, extremely encouraging, and will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I remember my grandmother as a strong women she never relied on anyone she was the biggest role model for me . when I was younger she used to say to me when asked her the time 'its half past kissing time , time to kiss again' she was my very best friend she is truly missed !'

To the Clark Family accept my condolences of the passing of you Mom, I delivered mail to your Mom and it was always a joy to talk to your Mom especially when she was getting ready to take Henry for a walk in the neighbor.

Leslie was a mentor and a friend.  I remember her fondly for all of those years we worked together at Christian Hospital Northeast.  I will never forget all that I learned from her.

It has been many years since I've seen Mrs. Clark but I have fond childhood memories of time spent at the Clark home. Lots of laughter watching Cheers in the basement, letting me use the family car to take my driver's test (maybe she didn't know about that ?!) and she made the best crepes ever! I'm thinking of you all, I know your mom will be missed.

As a Medical Record/Health Information student at St Louis University (Leslie's alma mater) I met Leslie when she bought t-shirts to support our student association.  A few years later, I was on a professional association committee with her. I have always remembered and appreciated some advice she gave me 25-30 years ago. Most recently, the HIMMERs--mostly retired Medical Record/Health Information professionals, would meet for lunch or dinner.  In May, both Leslie and I were both able to attend - usually we missed each other. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

I'm so saddened to learn of Leslie's death. We were good friends at Beaumont High School and our "alumnae lunch group" gathered once again this past August in Lake St. Louis. She seemed very well and we had lots of laughs -- as always. We were both quilters and exchanged stories when I came to St. Louis. A very smart woman who enjoyed her many volunteer positions. I'm sure she was much appreciated by all those with whom she worked. A bright light has gone from this world to heaven. She'll be remembered with much love.

Leslie was very well respected in her field.  She served her fellow Medical Record colleagues in volunteer positions in professional organizations and as a mentor to others.
I was fortunate to see another side of Leslie too after we both retired.  She was articulate, interested in many topics, generous and fun to be with.  She will be missed.
