Mary Joycelyn Work

Beloved wife of the late William G. Work; loving mother of Richard (Janice) and Eric Work; dear grandmother of of Christopher (Kim) Work, Julie (Kevin) Slivka, Jeremy (Jenny) Seavey, Jessica Noble, Kyle, Sean, and Zachary Work; great grandmother of Lily and Melody Work, Norris Work, and Ben Noble; dear sister of Fred Propst and the late Helen, Hilda, Jeanette, and Naomi; dear cousin, aunt, and friend to many.

Known by Joycelyn by her friends, she was a teacher in the Special School District for 25 years. She played the organ for different churches, mostly for Sherwood Baptist Church in Webster Groves. Needlepoint and travelling were high on her list of favorite activities and she held a deep appreciation for the arts.

SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at GERBER CHAPEL 23 W. Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves. Funeral 10:15am Thursday, May 5, 2016 from Lord Funeral Home 2900 Telegraph Rd.
