Adda Maria Marta Quintana Marquez Partin Cline. Adda Cline, 86, of Welsh, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Adda was born in Mexico City, Mexico on March 18, 1937. She was a stewardess for Mexican Airlines and also worked as a model, an E.S.L. teacher in California and co-owner and teacher at Noah's Ark Daycare in Welsh. Adda was also a faithful member of First Methodist Church of Welsh.
Adda was a true Christian and cared for the underdog. She was an amazing wife and mother who embodied unconditional love. She was quick to notice the beauty in others and in life and there's no doubt her first words to her Lord were, "You are beautiful" Indeed He is.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alicia and Benito Quintana, her first husband and father of her sons, Kenneth Edward Partin, Sr., son Bruce Partin and sister Fanny Galan.
Adda is survived by her husband John Cline Jr. of Welsh, son Kenneth Partin Jr. of Welsh, daughters; Tammy Lynn Gillett and husband Thomas of Lake Charles, Julie Ann Ellison and Husband Guy of Lafayette, Christi Marie Benoit and Husband Wayne of Owensboro Kentucky, sister, Myra Dunn and Husband Warner of Nacogdoches, TX, 13 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Saturday January 13, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday January 14, 2024 at First Methodist Church of Welsh with Rev. Craig Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh.
