Aline Mallet

Welsh - Aline Mallet, 87, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 in a care center.

She was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. She was the assistant manager of cafeteria workers for Welsh Elementary for 33 years and loved playing bingo and going to the casinos.

She is survived by her son, Barry Mallet of Welsh; daughter, Barbara Mallet of Welsh; grandchildren, Tresa Hornsby (Lisa Martin), Mitchel Hornsby, wife Heather and Wesley Mallet, great grandchildren, Emma and Carson Hornsby and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Mallet, parents, Paul and Oline Landry, brother, Allen Landry, sister, Ella Broussard.

Her service will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Father Charles McMillan will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and resume Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
