Chad M. Touchet Sr.

He was a resident of Welsh and was working in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and spoiling his grandbabies.

He is survived by his wife, Rachael LeGros Touchet of Beech Creek, PA; parents, Ernest Touchet Jr. and Wanda Trahan Touchet of Welsh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Benita LeGros; former wife and friend, Shanda Korn Touchet of Lake Charles; sons, Chad Touchet Jr. of Beech Creek, PA, Tyler Zimmerman; daughter, Brittany LeGros of Beech Creek, PA, Alexis Korn of Lake Charles, Paige Korn of Lake Charles, Katlyn Touchet of Welsh; brothers, Dwayne Touchet of Welsh, Tony Touchet of Welsh; sisters, Joanette Touchet of Lake Charles, Sandra Touchet O'Quain of Welsh, Sheila Touchet Chouest of Lafayette and 2 grandchildren, Dereonna LeGros of Beech Creek, PA and Dre'lynn LeGros of Beech Creek, PA.

His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Rev. Dale Nazworth will officiate. Pallbearers assisting in his service will be Tony Touchet, Dwayne Touchet, Gentry Touchet, Brennan Prestenbach, Alex O'Quain, Jarrett O'Quain and Scott Butterfield. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. til time of service.
