Janet, Wendell, Vickie and family,
It has been many years since I have seen any of you or Mrs. Dot. I just heard a couple of hours ago of her passing. My heart goes out to the family in this time of grief and sorrow.
Only two weeks ago I brought two of my grandsons to the beach and we passed by Big Lake. Your mom and dad became part of our conversation because I was telling them about the camp at Big Lake and how Jimmy and I went shrimping with Mr. Morris and Mrs. Dot. I sincerely, think of that time as one of my best memories. Having just moved to Louisiana from Texas I had rarely eaten seafood much less actually caught it, helped prepare it for cooking and putting it in the freezer. Your wonderful parents taught this Texas Girl so much and I am very grateful to have known them. God bless and keep you.
Please forgive my absence, I cannot make tomorrow's service.
With heartfelt condolences,
Kay Louviere
