Douglas was a quite soul. You were always at peace around him. He would give and expect nothing in return. He could make you laugh. He adored his children and especially his granddaughter. When things were quite around the dealership he would call me over to see Riley dance on video. He was so proud of her. He adored his sisters and brother and inlaws. He loved family. He loved to cook for the guys at the deer camp. Proud American who served our country and took pride in any veteran or military. Doug I will miss you my friend!

Geneva, Mary Lou, Johnnie Mae, Anne, Pratt, Carolyn, Chad, Robin, and Chris, I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could be there with you. Although I live in Texas, I am currently visiting with my son and family in Alaska. Douglas and I shared many fun experiences growing up together. We loved going to church camp every summer. I remember one year he told everyone there that we were twins - and they believed him . Douglas was a favorite cousin and I loved him for his great and outgoing personality. He will be missed by all.
