Paw Paw,

Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and wonder what you are doing up there. I feel so lucky to have had you in my life for 29 years. You are an amazing man, husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by so many. I will always cherish the times that we got to spend together whether it was going to doctors appointments or me just helping you out around the house. You have such a caring heart and were always there for me when I needed you. I miss you so much already but know that I will see you again. Take care paw paw and don't give them too much trouble up there!!

I know that words don't quite do it but when you can't share a hug and a smile...they are the next best things.. I was really sad to hear about your loss.
May this time bring peace and resolve in your life to make the best of every moment and memory!

Paw Paw, GOD has a plan for us, sometimes we don't understand it, but we believe and know its to prepare us for eternal life. Your courage and dedication to GOD and your family reflects in your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I know you are so proud! We miss you, but will see you again.

Papa, I will miss seeing you outside every day working in your yard and me coming down there and telling you to take a's too hot outside. You would just say I already had some water! We had so many great times together, especially all the crawfish boils. I want you to know that your son is just as great as you are so you did a wonderful job as his father! My children will miss you so much but will always hold in their hearts all the good things you have taught them. You are my hero who has fought the big fight! I will love you always!

I will miss your strawberry/fig jelly, your stories of learning english, listening to you talk french, your great gardens, but most of all I will miss my grandfather. A man I truly admired, a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all. I can only pray to be half the man you were. Love, Shane
