

He was born in Bell City and lived in Hayes. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and he worked as a mechanic in the Petroleum Industry. He loved fishing, was a very talented craftsman who could build or fix most everything. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Hebert Poole of Hayes; sons, Johnny Poole of Sweetlake, Warren Poole and wife, Jeanette of Hayes, Bryan Poole of Big Lake; daughter, Renell Poole Hoffpauir and husband, Poncho of Hayes; sisters, Margie Gaspard of Hayes, Ethel Marle Vincent of Hayes; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bell City. Rev. Augustine Mulanjanany will officiate. Burial will be in Lorraine-Derouen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. til service.
