Francis Godbout, age 94, of Jennings, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Francis was born June 19, 1926 to Earl Godbout and Nell Siegenhagen Godbout.

Francis was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, TX. and recently moved to Jennings. He was a proud United States Army Veteran having served his country in WWII. Francis enjoyed doing yard work and loved to find great antiques to buy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Anita Klumpp Godbout of Jennings; sons, Kevin Godbout and Brett Godbout both of Kansas, and Tom Regan of Kinder; daughters, Linda Parkins and Deborah Gentry both of Kansas, Danette Gage and husband Eric of Georgetown, Tx., and Charmaine Dupont of Jennings; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Vada Kemme, Phyllis Ireland, and Norma Godbout.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh on Friday, June 4, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Oaklawn Cemetery. Celebrant Jody Barrileaux will be officiating at the services.
