Glenn was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine. He enjoyed tinkering with things and listening to Cajun and Country Music. Glenn loved to cook for his family get togethers. He was known to be a big jokester and frequently played jokes on his family! Glenn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed greatly.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Courtney Theriot, a great-granddaughter, Laci Renee' Theriot, and a brother, Dallas Theriot, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Rita Theriot; 5 children, Sataria Theriot, Glenn Theriot, Jr. (Krystal), Chris Theriot, Sr., Michael Granger (Jackie), and Casey Theriot (Brittany); adopted daughter, Becky Cory; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh and will resume at 8:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2024.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am on Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine with Rev. Jom Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh.
