Guy "Gv" Vincent Bertrand

Welsh- Guy aka "GV" Vincent Bertrand, 65, Passed Away in the comfort of his own home on Friday, August 15, 2014.

He was born in Jennings, LA but has lived most of his life in Welsh, La. He was a caring Husband, Father and Grandfather who loved his family and enjoyed gardening and raising poultry. He shared his harvest of eggs and vegetables with anyone who needed it.

His Survivors include his wife, Patricia Miller of 42 years; one son Guy Patrick Bertrand and wife Nichole of Welsh; three grand-daughters; Makaela, Kahlan and Lexi all of Welsh; his sister-in-laws; Jane Miller of Lafayette and Renee Bertrand of Welsh also his brother-in-law Glenn Miller of Youngsville .He is preceded in death by his mother and father John Milton Bertrand and Ida Mae Webster Bertrand of Welsh and his brother Steven F. Bertrand.

His Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at Hixson of Welsh. Memorial Service will be Monday, August 18, 2014 at 2 pm. Words of comfort may be expressed to the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
